Developed and handcrafted in our Italian factory using 3T’s proprietary Filament Winding + RTM technology, the e-Racemax is the fastest e‑bike in our gravel range. With its iconic design and fully integrated cable routing, it is nearly indistinguishable from its non‑electric sibling.
THE HIDDEN BOOST
Engineered for speed and performance on gravel and every road surface — from smooth tarmac to rough cobblestones — the e-Racemax, shod with WAM 700c tyres (35–45 mm), is the ultimate electric gravel bike. Agile, responsive, and versatile, it is ideal for riders seeking an elegant all‑rounder with the seamless power assistance of an electric motor. The frame, hand‑built in Italy with our proprietary carbon technology, is identical to the non‑electric Racemax. All electronics, cables, and battery are fully housed inside the down tube — no bulky profiles or unsightly external modifications. The Mahle X20 rear‑hub motor preserves the frame’s original geometry and delivers an impressively natural ride feel.
REAL‑WORLD AERODYNAMICS
We designed the rear wheel cutout to sit as close as possible to the seat tube — making room for wide tyres, knobs, and mud — while sculpting a large down tube that guides airflow smoothly past the front wheel. Up front, a purpose‑engineered head tube accommodates a robust fork steerer; aero‑optimised seat stays and carefully positioned bottle mounts further reduce drag. Most importantly, every shape is tuned for real‑world speed — accounting for crosswinds, tyre width, accessories, and even mud. The e-Racemax is fast where it matters most: out on the road, not just inside a wind tunnel.
POWER, EFFICIENCY & LIGHTNESS
The e-Racemax features a hand‑built Italian carbon frame using 3T’s proprietary manufacturing methods, delivering an impressively low overall weight. Optimised weight distribution and carefully positioned centre of gravity make the ride feel remarkably like a traditional bicycle. Equipped with the 3T‑tuned Mahle X20 motor, producing 65 Nm of torque, paired with a 236 Wh battery for smooth, progressive assistance. The motor adds just over 3 kg to total bike weight. The Mahle system includes Bluetooth® & ANT+™ connectivity, Garmin compatibility, three standard assist modes, plus a fully customisable fourth mode via the MySmartBike app. Intelligent power management delivers an estimated 100+ km range and 1,000 m of elevation gain*. Need to go farther? Add the optional 171 Wh range extender (1.1 kg), mounted in a standard bottle cage, for an additional ~50% range.
* Estimated performance: rider weight under 75 kg, mixed fast gravel/asphalt routes, EU legal assist limit of 25 km/h.
3T MORE INTEGRALE TECHNOLOGY
Internal cable routing delivers a clean, sleek appearance and reduced aerodynamic drag — without the usual compromises. Unlike fully concealed systems that require oversized components and complicate maintenance, our MORE Integrale system uses standard head tube dimensions and offers key practical advantages:
- Easy height adjustments — no need to disconnect brake hoses
- Swap stem lengths without bleeding or re‑bleeding brakes
- Full fit flexibility — choose any length 3T Integrale stem for perfect ergonomics
- Travel‑friendly — remove the stem entirely without disconnecting cabling
- Integrated design — dedicated clean mounting solution
